Batch Convert and Compress Images to WebP Without Losing Quality (Free, Offline)

By · · 4 min read

Uploading photos to a website? Converting a whole folder to WEBP and compressing it usually gives the best size-to-quality ratio. APIC handles hundreds of images in one pass, offline.

Supported formats

PNG, JPG, WEBP, BMP, TIFF, ICO and more can be viewed, edited and converted.

Convert and compress a folder

  1. Run APIC.exe and drag your images — or a whole folder — onto the window.
  2. Choose Convert and pick WEBP (or PNG, JPG, BMP, TIFF, ICO).
  3. Add the Compress operation to cut file size without visible quality loss.
  4. Start the batch; progress for all files is shown in one pass.
  5. Check the results — editing and conversion are non-destructive unless you choose to overwrite originals.

No download? Use APIC Web

For a quick job on any device, open APIC Web, which runs in your browser. The portable Windows app remains the full-power option for large batches.

Find images fast
